My Approach

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness.  I look at how all the areas of Your life are connected and how each part of Your life affects Your health as a whole. For example, what are You telling Yourself, and how is that affecting You setting and accomplishing Your goals? Does stress at Your job or in Your relationship cause You to overeat? Does lack of sleep, excess stress in Your life, or low energy prevent You from exercising?

Together we work to reach Your health, fitness, nutritional, and personal goals. You gain a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for You. More importantly, You implement lasting changes that improve Your overall health, energy level, and give You balance in Your life. My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or lists of good and bad foods. Rather, it is to make healthier choices each day, such as: beginning and ending Your day with a positive mindset; believing You can accomplish Your goals; envisioning Your goals; consistently increasing the quantity of Your healthy foods and water intake, increasing the amount of Your quality sleep; and exercising daily. Primary Food™: It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity, and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what You eat becomes secondary. I will support You in achieving all of Your goals, from eating the right foods for Your body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.

Walk the Talk- It is a Lifestyle Nutritional Plate:  My Walk the Talk – It’s a Lifestyle Nutritional Plate emphasizes the importance of local and organic produce, whole grains, high-quality proteins, plant-based healthy fats, and water. It shows You how Your plate should appear at mealtime and emphasizes the importance of proportions and portion size. To complete the picture, Your plate is surrounded with lifestyle factors that create optimal health, such as: relationship, career, physical activity, and spirituality. I will introduce to You some healthy foods and teach You how to find what’s healthiest for Your unique body, as well as, incorporate key factors that affect Your fitness, relationships, career, and spiritual life. Let’s ensure You are feeding Your mind, body, and soul what it needs to be the best it can be. Then, You can feel, look, and be the best you can be.
